ICN is successfully carrying out the construction and erection works of blocks 2,3,4 as well as auxiliary, temporary and permanent structures at Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant. ICN is the first local company to operate as the main contractor in the construction phases of a nuclear power plant in Türkiye, maximizing the use of local resources and labor.
With approximately 5,300 Turkish and 1,700 international employees, ICN plays an important role in the construction of nuclear, turbine islands, water structures and operational structures. It also continues its activities in a pioneering position in the sector by providing Turkish workers and engineers with the opportunity to build their know-how in the construction of nuclear facilities.
One of ICN’s contributions to strengthening the transportation network in Türkiye is the T26 Railway Tunnel Project, located in the middle of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed rail corridor. In this project, which is being carried out by the State Railways of the Republic of Türkiye, ongoing tunnel construction works are being carried out with the NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method) in accordance with the high speed train travel standards. This project is particularly valuable in terms of the value it brings to Türkiye’s transportation infrastructure, and considering the details of the project, ICN’s responsibilities and achievements in this project once again demonstrate the company’s areas of expertise. On the other hand, ICN is engaged in various large-scale projects not only in Türkiye but also internationally. The construction of Pulkovo Airport in Saint Petersburg is a success story that reflects ICN’s professionalism and quality.
