QUALITY MANAGEMENT POLICY

IC İÇTAŞ NUKLEER VE ENDUSTRİYEL TESİSLER YAPIM ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“IC İÇTAŞ NUKLEER”) is a Turkish company established to undertake the construction of the Akkuyu NPP, while operating in the utilization of nuclear energy, priority is given to ensuring the safety of nuclear facilities.

This policy describes IC İÇTAŞ NUKLEER‘s official position on its role and obligations regarding quality management issues in the execution of Akkuyu NPP construction works.

Accordingly, IC İÇTAŞ NUKLEER successfully implements and continuously improves its Integrated Management System, which was established in strict compliance with the current Russian and Turkish legislation and the requirements of the international ISO 9001 standard.

IC İÇTAŞ NUKLEER continues its activities in the field of quality assurance by adhering to the following principles:

  • IC HOLDING GROUP ensures a high level of quality work that fully and completely meets the requirements and expectations of the Employer and EPC Contractor;
  • Complies with legal and other mandatory requirements of the Republic of Türkiye, the Russian Federation and international standards;
  • Ensures continuous improvement and development of quality management systems to ensure regular improvement of the performance of Akkuyu NPP construction works;
  • Ensures leadership and commitment of managers at all levels to the quality management system;
  • Ensures the development of personnel undertaking tasks in all areas of IC İÇTAŞ NUKLEER‘s activities through research, vocational training and qualification;
  • Carries out risk identification, assessment and mitigation activities in the management of IC İÇTAŞ NUKLEER‘s core activities;
  • Adopts a prioritized approach to the implementation of requirements important for nuclear safety in the nuclear energy supply chain;
  • Ensures that the necessary conditions are created for the implementation and maintenance of this Policy, for the development of staff awareness, and that the necessary resources are allocated for the implementation of the Policy
  • Ensures mutually beneficial cooperation with contractor companies by implementing norms related to quality management;
  • Ensures periodic satisfaction follow-up of IC İÇTAŞ NUKLEER‘s activities in the field of quality management and ensures that all relevant parties are informed on the subject.
